Swedish/Edmonds chief executive Joins Operation Military Family board

Edmonds-based Operation Military Family is proud to announce that David Jaffe, chief executive of Swedish Medical Center/Edmonds, has joined OMF?s Executive Board of Directors.

As a leader in the medical community, Jaffe acknowledged the huge sacrifice made by military personnel and their families and wants to do whatever he can to help. ?They?re there for us and we need to be there for them and their families,? he said. ?Joining the OMF board is an excellent way for me to be able to directly support this mission.?
Prior to his role as Chief Executive of Swedish/Edmonds, Jaffe spent 16 years as executive director and CEO of Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He is an emeritus board member of the Trauma Center Association of America and a retired clinical associate professor at the University of Washington?s graduate school of public health and community medicine. He is also a current board member of the Snohomish County Economic Alliance and the Edmonds Center for the Arts.
