Manta's Survey revealed that Small Businesses in their state goes ...

Establishing and promoting them online and increasing their customer base is what small business owners focused their emphasis. The largest online community dedicated entirely to small business, according to the new survey released by Manta, 90 percent dedicates time to networking online, and 74 percent find networking online just as, if not more, valuable than networking in person.

The most valuable benefit of networking online was gaining and targeting prospective customers said by nearly 50 percent of small business owners surveyed. And at least a quarter of the new customers gained by 78 percent said that they got it through online and social media channels this year. The CEO of Manta Pamela Springer noted that small businesses understood that they should go where their audience was. And she added that by participating, networking and being found online was extremely important in growing their business today. And she claimed that it wasn?t surprising that small businesses were embracing the channel.
